There are a lot of questions from mom for me to answer this week. The week was pretty good, a lot better than last week.
We are probably going to golf again next week, but today is bball as usual. Last week I shot lights out! it was awesome. As for cool experiences we went over to Christine Peterson's house and she let us in for the first time. We talked to her about the Book of Mormon and how it can bless lives and how to study it. Pres. Ware's counsel from my interview last transfer has been helping a lot. We went back a few days later and she had already read 5 chapters in the Book of Mormon and she was so much happier. Instead of sitting at home all day she went out and served her family members and helped them around the house. She told us that we are rubbing off on her hahaha. In just 4 days her attitude has changed so much and she loves the Book of Mormon. She does smoke and drink alcohol, coffee, and tea. So that will be a challenge, but she is doing great and has made tons of progress. Marsha Blackburn showed up to church this week for the first time in 23 years. We were so excited. We have been constantly inviting her ever since I got here. Our WML was also way excited to see her there. She said she will be back next week! She also is getting excited about family history. This week we went to Brewster to help with the fire clean up. We cleared tin and the foundation remaining from the fire of a double wide mobile home. Other people went to the warehouse to organize donations. There are so many church members willing to help out. John Smith came with us and wants to come back and help next week. We needed 40 volunteers to go help from our stake and we ended up with over 60. It was awesome to see so many people willing to help. We are going back wednesday. We haven't done any more exchanges yet and the ward program is still being set up, but that will take effect very soon. Something funny that happened is Elder Stevens was talking about Elder Solis doing a runway model walk for them. Elder Solis is a really feminine mexican elder that Elder Stevens is bugged by a lot hahaha. It was hilarious to hear him tell the story. Yes I would say my laundry and clothes are doing pretty good. We buy a lot of frozen foods for lunches like mini pizzas and stuff. we chopped up potatoes and used John Smith's deep fryer yesterday and made french fries it was good. We have been doing Insanity for exercise. It is killer haha. Yea I wrote to jake last week. Jon writes me all the time. He is trying so hard to find a new job cuz all of these new kids are getting promotions and nobody understands why haha. He wants to graduate early and go on his mission in February or march.  I hope your questions were answered. yes I do wash my pillow case and yes I have been taking care of my eyebrows. my hygeine is good dont worry.
It sounds like that priests trip was awesome! We should have done more stuff like that when i was in there. Of course grandpa was taking credit for the cooking hahaha. I can't believe it is taking so long for people to get their calls. Hopefully somebody gets called here hahaha. Transfer calls are in less than 3 weeks. It is crazy that the transfer is half over. This next one will be a little more nerve racking. Are you excited for everyone to go back to SCHOOL!!!!!!!! hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Suckas!! just kidding that was rude I know how it feels. Summer is almost gone but it sounds like you guys had a good one.
Thanks for all the updates with the golf world and everything. The paul george injury is gonna make it pretty easy for the Cavs in the east. Thanks for all the prayers and support! I can tell this week that it worked!
Love, Elder Newbold
